About Me
Why choose me?
I trained as an actor at The Guildford School of Acting where I honed my skills as a performer and have enjoyed singing, poetry and storytelling all of my life. I have undertaken professional training to become a celebrant at the International College of Professional Celebrants. I am based in the beautiful town of Hexham in the Tyne Valley in Northumberland and am proud to have lived here for nearly seventeen years, raising a family of two children and a Labrador with my lovely wife.
I feel that becoming a celebrant has been my life’s calling - one that has only taken me thirty years to find! All the experiences along the way have given me a great understanding of the happiness and sadness of life.
I love all people and want to help make whatever you are celebrating whether it’s at the beginning, middle or end of life a truly memorable and unique occasion.
The joy of choosing a celebrant led ceremony gives you the freedom and flexibility to craft the ceremony how you want it to be. I will treat every engagement with warmth, empathy, respect and humour (when appropriate). We are all original and unique and the ceremonies in our lives should reflect that.

Thank you for visiting my site - please note that the current legislation in England forbids me from carrying out a marriage ceremony, anyone considering a celebrant led ceremony will still have to go to a Registrar for the legal bit - then to me for the fun bit!
